"Dedicated to excellence in the loving care of your pets"

Welcome to Our Site

Appointment Policy

To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment.  We will do our best to run "on time" but our doctors will never compromise their treatment of your pet if more time is needed than originally scheduled.  That personal concern for each pet is one of the things our clients particularly appreciate - even if it means they must wait a few minutes.

Emergency cases will always receive top priority, which will inevitably result in appointment delay.  Realizing that your time is valuable, we will do our best to avoid lengthy waits and to keep you informed if there are scheduling delays.

Safety Policy

Safety is a primary concern of ours - for you, your pets, and our staff.  We, therefore, ask that you comply with some simple safety policies.

We require that  all dogs be on a leash and properly controlled while in the waiting area or exam rooms.  While your dog may be well-behaved and docile at home, in new surroundings with new people and other pets, they may respond in uncharacteristic ways.

Similarly, we require that all cats be in an appropriate cat carrier or on a leash.  We've had some heartbreaking experiences where cats being carried into the clinic in the arms of their owner were startled by a dog in the parking lot or a truck on the highway and jumped out of their owner's arms and ran off.

In the exam room, we strongly request that you allow our trained assistants to hold your pet during the examination.  It is not uncommon during a thorough examination or while being treated for an illness or injury for a pet to try to bite, scratch, or jump off the exam table.  To avoid serious injury to anyone in the room, we ask for your cooperation.

Payment Policy

In return for the medical care, treatment, and medications given to your pet, we do require full payment at the time that services are rendered. Yes, we do accept cash  or a personal check with identification.  For your convenience, we also accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express credit cards.

We also participate with CareCredit - a medical credit card with no interest as long as payments are made on time as pre-arranged.  Please call us if you'd like more information.
